2022 update: seems to have been abandoned. Issues with security with new versions of Android. Old review: So fast its scary! :) Have used the free version for a long time and figured it was time to support the author so i got the pro version.
Dead app
Used to be my go-to browser. With new Android 11 device I can no longer access the bottom menu so not really usable.
Years ago I was frustrated that my browsers were using hundreds of MBs, that's when I found Naked. It only takes up 1 or 2 MBs of space vs DuckDuckGo (50MB) or Chrome (100MB!) Consistently my favorite browser for many years! Favorite features are Clear-Paste-Go and swipe right to get bookmarks. Just like any app it will take a day or so to get familiar but for me this is not one of but THE most intuitive browser available. Unfortunately, it doesn't seem to delete history/ cookies on exit anymore
Developer abandoned app do not use. Developer does no updates anymore
Used to be good a few years ago. For the last couple of years, has a conflict with Android web view. Contacted the developer and made them aware of the issue. No solution except to send back the same canned reply for the last year or so telling me to read the description on the play store. Told them to stop replying to me as their ignorance to fix the issue is superceded only by their arrogance of not acknowledging the issue or the solution. Today recieved a reply that they will not stop.
Missing the 3 dots (ellipses) on the far right side of the navigation bar to access the settings since upgrading to Samsung Galaxy S22. How do I get them back?
the internet sucks more every day. this browser is one of the few things that make it tolerable. I wish you'd charge us a yearly fee for any maintenance you might occasionally need to do. I know I'm not the only one who'd pay for that. I'm going on the record right now to say I'll pay $100 every 3 years if you can keep me in a working version of this browser. it hasn't been updated in awhile currently, but as it is, it's still working just fine for me on Android 11.
Done with this app. I saw a commercial on youtube that was exactly what I had searched for a minute ago using Duckduckgo as the search engine. Very, very, very, very little chance this was a coincidence.
Moved to a better browser "Chrome", more stable & a much smoother UI. No more weird UI and no more crashes. Developer, "Tony" is a confirmed hot head to other paying customers who previously rate his program 4 stars or less & he often ignores response to user request or help. Developer's angry retort is clearly evident in his reply to my unbiased review on his free version. Did you implement tab save feature, No, you just yelled at me! Beware folks. 2 years since updates, abandonware? Rated 0.
